About The Position
Design Ready Controls (DRC) is seeking a Buyer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of production materials by strategically managing the purchasing process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Experience with ERP systems (M1 preferred).
- A proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Candidate must be located in Minnesota.

Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase orders for a variety of materials, considering factors like lead time, demand, cost, and inventory space.
- Analyze inventory levels, identify re-order points, and proactively address potential shortages.
- Utilize our ERP system to efficiently manage purchase orders, track inventory, and generate reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, competitive pricing, and excellent quality.
- Collaborate closely with production teams to identify and resolve potential supply chain issues.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and optimize inventory costs.
