About The Position

As a Boat Buyer/Broker, the Buyer serves as a liaison between buyers and sellers in the marine industry, facilitating boat purchases and sales while ensuring both parties' needs are met efficiently and effectively. The role involves evaluating boats, negotiating deals, managing documentation, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the buying and selling process. The position operates exclusively in an indoor office environment with controlled temperatures.

Requirements

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to assess boat conditions and values accurately.
Proven experience in boat brokerage, sales, or a related field.
Brokerage license.
Proficiency with relevant software and tools for market analysis and documentation.

Responsibilities

Meet with clients to understand their boat-buying or selling needs.
Provide advice on market trends, boat types, and pricing.
Research market conditions, boat values, and emerging trends.
Analyze comparable sales to determine appropriate boat pricing.
Negotiate terms and prices between buyers and sellers to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
Handle offers, counteroffers, and final agreements professionally.
Organize and conduct boat showings and demonstrations for prospective buyers.
Build and maintain relationships with boat owners, dealers, and other industry professionals.
Use sales tools, including OneWater Buyer/Broker Processes and CRM.
Monitor boats through service, inspection, and delivery.
Provide exceptional service throughout the buying or selling process and address concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Participate in boat shows, store and off-site sales, and customer events.
