This role involves managing supplier relationships and contributing to an efficient and robust supply chain.

  • Analyzing market trends, supplier capabilities, and commodity pricing.
  • Resolving invoicing, shipping, or other procurement-related problems.
  • Maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation.
  • Participating in cost reduction initiatives and supply chain optimization projects.

Responsibilities

  • Execute purchase orders in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Identify and evaluate new suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance, address any issues or discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., engineering, production, quality) to understand material requirements and specifications.
  • Manage inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize excess or obsolete materials.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and commodity pricing to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Resolve invoicing, shipping, or other procurement-related problems in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
  • Participate in cost reduction initiatives and supply chain optimization projects.
