About The Position

ENC is seeking a Buyer with procurement experience in OEM procurement within the automotive sector or in service/aftermarket sales. The role involves sourcing and negotiating purchases such as raw materials, electronic and mechanical components, steel, engines, or wheels and tires. The Buyer works with OEM supply chains, cost optimization, supplier management, and inventory control, using analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills to support procurement goals. This is an onsite position in Riverside, California.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; preference is given to business, supply chain, or engineering degrees.
• 2–4 years of procurement experience in a dynamic environment; automotive procurement or aftermarket purchasing is preferred.
• Procurement experience in production or aftermarket purchasing.
• Understanding of supply chain operations, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.
• Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management, Project Management, and production control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and advanced formulas, and familiarity with ERP/MRP.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

• Relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers in the automotive supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials to ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery.
• Negotiate with suppliers and manage their performance to achieve best value and align with schedules.
• Oversee the RFQ process, procurement awards, purchase order creation, and goods receipt management.
• Work with the Aftermarket sales team to meet customer requirements, cost objectives, and timing.
• Ensure suppliers meet delivery schedules and promptly address performance issues to avoid delays.
• Use advanced Excel tools and ERP/MRP systems to analyze procurement data and provide actionable insights.
