About The Position

We are seeking a Buyer to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, support Service departments and supplier representatives. This role involves managing purchasing activities including processing requisitions to purchase orders, monitoring purchase order life cycle, obtaining quotations, match exception resolution, order acknowledgments, order expediting, and back order management, all in a timely and accurate manner. The Buyer will also be responsible for meeting metric expectations outlined for the role, such as match exceptions, accruals, change orders, and aging open orders.

Requirements

• High School Diploma Required
• 2 years Purchasing related experience Required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree In Business or related field Preferred
• Work experience in a Health Care Procurement setting Preferred
• Enterprise Resource Planning System Preferred
• Certified Materials Resource Professional (CMRP) Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, support Service departments and supplier representatives.
