About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to support purchasing and procurement operations across our hospitality portfolio. This role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing a wide variety of products and services, including food & beverage supplies, operating supplies, maintenance items, equipment, and vendor services. The ideal candidate will have strong supplier management, contract negotiation, inventory planning, and cost-control experience within a hotel, resort, hospitality, food service, restaurant, or retail environment. Requirements

3–5 years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience.
Experience in hospitality, hotels, resorts, food & beverage, restaurants, food service, retail, or multi-property operations strongly preferred.
Proven success negotiating contracts, pricing agreements, and vendor partnerships.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Experience supporting hotel, resort, vacation ownership, timeshare, or hospitality operations.
Knowledge of procurement best practices, strategic sourcing, inventory management, and supplier relationship management.
Experience with Oracle Procurement, ERP systems, purchasing software, or supply chain management platforms.

Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers and vendors for food, beverage, operational, and service-related purchases.
Develop and maintain strategic vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing, quality products, and reliable delivery.
Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing agreements, service terms, and supplier partnerships to maximize value and reduce costs.
Manage the full procure-to-pay (P2P) purchasing process, including purchase order creation, vendor communication, and invoice resolution.
Ensure all purchases comply with company purchasing policies, procurement standards, and approved vendor programs.
Collaborate with department leaders to forecast demand and plan purchasing needs.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages, stockouts, overstock situations, and unnecessary expenses.
Track supplier lead times, market conditions, and supply chain trends to support informed purchasing decisions.
Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and streamline purchasing processes.
Monitor supplier performance, quality standards, and service levels.
Document and report vendor performance through supplier evaluation and rating programs.
Ensure products and services meet company specifications, quality expectations, safety regulations, and applicable health codes.
Verify receipt of goods and services prior to processing invoice payments.
Maintain complete and accurate purchasing records, contracts, agreements, and procurement documentation.
Analyze purchasing data, spending trends, and supplier performance metrics.
Prepare reports on procurement activity, cost savings, expenditures, and purchasing effectiveness.
Assist with annual budget planning and strategic sourcing initiatives.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service.
Support special projects and operational initiatives as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
