About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting CEPA's purchasing and production planning functions by sourcing materials, managing purchase orders, and coordinating production schedules. The role starts with smaller programs and one-off orders, with the intention of building towards ownership of larger programs. The core responsibilities are the same as the rest of the Buyer/Planner team, but at a smaller scope while training ramps up. The goal is to ensure dependable material flow and clear-to-build readiness on assigned programs, allowing senior Buyer/Planners to focus on larger, more complex programs. This role is ideal for someone early in their purchasing or materials career who is detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn. Success is measured by accurate, on-time purchase orders, reliable production planning, and steady growth in scope and independence. The ideal candidate cares about details, building strong supplier relationships, and growing into greater ownership, bringing analytical thinking, ERP/Excel skills, and clear communication.
