About The Position

This role is responsible for procuring all necessary materials, parts, and supplies to support production, maintenance, and daily operations. The Buyer NSA ensures sufficient inventory levels are maintained to meet customer and contractual demands, utilizing the company’s inventory and procurement systems for order management, shipment tracking, and delivery verification. A key responsibility includes daily monitoring and updating of the Aircraft Hotsheet to ensure work order requirements are met. The position also involves collaboration with the accounting department to resolve discrepancies, maintaining purchasing documentation, developing strong vendor relationships, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience with inventory and procurement systems.
• Ability to monitor and update critical documentation daily (Aircraft Hotsheet).
• Strong collaboration skills, particularly with accounting departments.
• Proficiency in maintaining and filing purchasing, shipping, receiving, and delivery documentation.
• Skills in developing and maintaining vendor relationships.
• Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Commitment to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Procure all necessary materials, parts, and supplies to support production, maintenance, and daily operations.
• Ensure sufficient inventory levels are maintained to meet customer and contractual demands.
• Utilize the company’s inventory and procurement systems to manage orders, track shipments, and verify timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor and update the Aircraft Hotsheet daily to ensure required items for work orders are on order or available in stock.
• Collaborate with the accounting department to research and resolve purchase order or invoice discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain and properly file all documentation related to purchasing, shipping, receiving, and delivery of materials.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, price competitiveness, and reliable delivery schedules.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the goals of the department and organization.
