This role involves collaborating across teams, monitoring inventory, managing delivery scheduling, negotiating with suppliers, and procuring essential items.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
4-7 years of experience

Responsibilities

Lead purchasing activities to execute purchases at the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability of source, and urgency of need.
Lead cross-functional teams to drive problem resolution for supply issues with key stakeholders (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers, Supplier Account Management).
Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality.
Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand.
Lead problem resolution for material-related accounting and receiving issues.
Lead team inventory/E&Z management efforts.
Clearly communicate complex or sensitive information.
Lead purchasing process improvement within the team; new program implementation and act as a trainer for department purchasing activities.
Support management in developing strategic plans and implementation related to cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning, and quality control of production materials.
Mentor junior buyers.
