About The Position

The Buyer I procures indirect supplies and services, working with suppliers to gather product details, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules to support cost-effective, high-quality outcomes. The role also provides direct supply-planning support in SAP, manages routine exceptions, and partners with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of quality materials. It administers systems for indirect and direct procurement, including pricing and user-access setup, and troubleshooting for Ariba and SAP MRP. The Buyer I participates in continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost savings and process enhancements, and collaborates with IS and other stakeholders to identify, plan, and implement improvements to Procurement SAP MRP in support of supply-chain benchmark performance. Requirements

At least 1 year of experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

Responsibilities

Procure indirect supplies and services by obtaining product details, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules from suppliers.
Provide direct supply-planning support in SAP and manage routine exceptions.
Partner with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of quality materials.
Administer systems for indirect and direct procurement, including pricing and user-access setup.
Troubleshoot Ariba and SAP MRP.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost savings and process enhancements.
Collaborate with IS and other stakeholders to identify, plan, and implement Procurement SAP MRP improvements.
