About The Position

The Busser is a member of the restaurant service team who supports servers and kitchen staff to help ensure a positive dining experience. The role involves delivering food and drinks to guests, clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining clean, organized dining and outdoor seating areas. The position pays $18.00–$20.00 per hour and will remain open until December 31, 2026.

Requirements

Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred, especially in a similar customer service role.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry food trays or plates, and navigate outdoor spaces comfortably.
Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and relaying information to team members.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order delivery and customer satisfaction.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to collaborate with kitchen and serving staff.
Friendly and approachable demeanor and ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Collect prepared food from the kitchen and transport it safely to seating areas.
Check delivered food against order details, including special requests, allergies, and dietary restrictions.
Deliver food promptly while it is fresh and hot.
Pick up drink orders from the bar and deliver them to guests.
Set tables with clean utensils and condiments before guests arrive.
Clear and reset tables promptly after guests finish dining.
Keep tables properly arranged and presentable for the next guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in outdoor dining areas, clearing empty plates, utensils, and waste as needed.
Coordinate with kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, and other restaurant personnel to support smooth service.
Regularly clean dining tables, chairs, and surrounding areas.
Empty and clean garbage cans before, during, and after each shift.
Wipe tables, clean debris around the dining area, and seat guests.
Assist with general cleaning tasks, including restocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and cleaning the bar.
Collect recyclable disposable items and place them in the assigned garbage area.
Maintain an adequate supply of disposable plates, containers, and utensils.
