About The Position

The Busser assists servers in providing quality service to guests and supports the management team as needed. This is a part-time seasonal position requiring evening availability. The role involves preparing and maintaining tables and service stations, delivering bread and water, clearing and resetting tables between courses and guests, and completing assigned side work. The position requires English communication skills, flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Ability to communicate in English and understand directions to ensure workplace safety.
Ability to understand, respond to, and engage with coworkers, managers, and guests in English.
Flexible schedule and availability to work evenings.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Detail-oriented.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work on feet for at least 8 hours.
Ability to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 40 pounds.
Ability to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects with hands.
Ability to make fast-paced movements between areas of the club.
Ability to occasionally kneel, bend, crouch, and climb as required.

Responsibilities

Set up tables with the appropriate mise en place, including ketchup, salt and pepper, HP sauce, and sugar bowls.
Ensure stations are stocked and ready for service, and maintain them throughout service.
Set up candles on tables.
Detail tables before service to ensure place settings are neat and organized.
Deliver bread and water to tables in the assigned section and assist other sections when necessary.
Keep the bread warmer organized and full.
Clear tables between courses.
Clear and reset tables for new guests.
Complete assigned side work before and after service, as described on side work sheets.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
