About The Position

The Busser assists servers in providing quality service to all guests and supports the management team as needed. The role involves preparing tables and stations for service, delivering bread and water, clearing and resetting tables, and completing assigned side work. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment and meeting the physical demands of restaurant service.

Requirements

Ability to communicate and understand directions in English to ensure workplace safety.
Ability to understand, respond, and engage with coworkers, managers, and guests in English.
Flexible schedule.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Detail-oriented.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
Able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Set up tables with the appropriate mise en place, including ketchup, salt and pepper, HP sauce, and sugar bowls.
Ensure all stations are stocked and ready for service, and maintain them throughout service.
Set up candles on tables.
Detail tables before service to ensure place settings are neat and organized.
Deliver bread and water to tables in the assigned section and assist other sections when necessary.
Keep the bread warmer organized and full.
Clear tables between courses.
Clear and reset tables for new guests.
Complete assigned side work before and after service.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
