About The Position
Culinary Services Group is hiring a full-time Busser at Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury (RWC) in Irvington, Virginia. The position sets and clears restaurant tables, stocks service stations, and assists food servers with table service. No prior experience is required, and training is provided. The schedule is full time, with days and hours that may vary, multiple shifts available, and rotating weekends required. No late nights are noted. The fixed pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Requirements
- No prior experience is required; willingness to train is stated.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting; promptly reset serviceware as prescribed.
- Maintain the stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods, including necessary equipment, silverware, linen, and condiments.
- Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary.
- Serve guests beverages, breads, and butter, replenish them as necessary, and assist servers with food and beverage service.
- Transport dirty tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area.
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by a supervisor.
- Fold napkins throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply.
- Perform assigned side work, including replenishing condiments and restocking side stands.
- Perform other assigned duties, such as cleaning unexpected spills, handling special guest requests, and greeting and seating guests.
