About The Position

Salt + Smoke is seeking a part-time talented busser with a passion for service and a commitment to helping the restaurant run smoothly, for both the Front of House team and our guests. If you thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, can simultaneously have a commitment for excellence, hospitality, multi-task, and remain positive and upbeat, we want to hear from you! You will report to the General Manager.

Requirements

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to stand and be on feet for extended periods of time in varied climate conditions.
Able to carry and lift up to 50 lbs at times.
Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1 to 2 years of runner, busser, or server experience in a high volume, or restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Bussing tables with speed and efficiency.
Pre-bussing at the end of the meal.
Clearing any remaining glasses or plates.
Wiping/resetting tables at the first chance possible.
Facilitating a fast flow of the restaurant while maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, and hospitality.
Stocking and setting up service stations.
Keeping the restaurant clean and organized.
Assisting with spills, taking out linen bags and trash, and restocking.
Assisting with table service, including delivering beverages and food from the kitchen, and refilling glasses as needed.
Delivering excellent customer service.
Handling customer requests in a timely manner.
Performing any other duties as assigned.
