About The Position

Prime & Provisions, an award-winning steakhouse in downtown Chicago known for its dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood, exceptional hospitality, and sophisticated dining experience, is seeking Bussers. These roles require strong attention to detail, urgency, and teamwork to ensure food is delivered accurately, efficiently, and with proper presentation in a fast-paced, high-volume, full-service restaurant environment.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant experience required; high-volume experience strongly preferred.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Basic knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and allergens.

Responsibilities

  • Clear and reset tables quickly and accurately according to company standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and guest areas.
  • Refill water glasses and assist with beverage service as needed.
  • Monitor dining room cleanliness, including floors, chairs, and high-touch surfaces.
  • Maintain stocked and organized service stations (napkins, flatware, glassware, condiments).
  • Transport dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils safely and efficiently to designated dish areas.
  • Dispose of trash and recycling promptly and maintain clean trash receptacles.
  • Assist servers and support staff in maintaining smooth dining room operations during service.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to support service flow.
  • Complete opening, running, and closing side work as assigned.
  • Follow all company policies, sanitation guidelines, and food safety standards.
  • Contribute positively to team morale and support fellow team members during high-volume periods.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company hospitality standards.
  • Additional duties as needed within the scope of the role.
