About The Position

The Busser Runner is responsible for maintaining a fast-paced dining flow by acting as the main link between kitchen staff and servers. This role involves coordinating orders, checking the quality of food, resetting tables, supporting guests, and maintaining facilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and 1+ years of restaurant experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, attention to detail, and friendly customer service skills.
  • Consistent, punctual attendance and a calm demeanor during busy rushes.
  • Strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hazard regulations.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand and walk briskly for an entire shift.
  • Frequent bending, stretching, reaching, crouching, and navigating stairs.
  • Ability to lift trays, plates, and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Capability to work safely in small spaces and on potentially slippery floors.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Orders: Relay modifications between servers and kitchen staff seamlessly.
  • Quality Check: Verify plating, garnishes, accuracy, and special dietary requests.
  • Reset Tables: Clear dishes, wipe tables, and reset seating quickly.
  • Support Guests: Refill waters, deliver condiments, and assist waitstaff responsively.
  • Maintain Facilities: Stock service stations, restock restrooms, and handle general cleaning.
