About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Server/Captain to join our team at 980 Prime. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional, personalized dining experiences, managing orders, coordinating with the kitchen, and ensuring efficient table maintenance and payment processing. This role requires a strong commitment to teamwork, compliance with regulations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

1 year of recent serving experience in a reputable establishment preferred.
Strong multitasking skills.
Friendly communication skills.
Time management skills.
Basic math skills for handling payments.
Punctual and consistent attendance.
Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including routine evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand and walk briskly for an entire shift, navigate stairs, bend, and crouch.
Capability to carry loaded food/drink trays and lift up to 50 pounds of restaurant supplies.
Comfort working safely in tight spaces and on potentially slippery kitchen floors.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional, personalized dining experiences by taking accurate orders, explaining menu details, and collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service in a fast-paced environment.
Greet and seat guests, present menus, share daily specials, and anticipate dining needs.
Explain ingredients, check food allergies, take precise orders, and input them into the POS system.
Coordinate with the kitchen to serve orders simultaneously, efficiently, and with appealing presentation.
Conduct satisfaction checks, replenish drinks, clear dishes, and reset tables promptly.
Present bills and process transactions quickly and accurately.
Attend pre-shift meetings, support teammates during rushes, and strictly follow safety, health, and Colorado Limited Gaming Act regulations.
