About The Position

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Ship’s Provisioning Laborer to join our team at the Sub-base. No prior experience is required—just a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work as part of a team. This role is part of the AbilityOne Program, a federal program that helps adults with disabilities find jobs and receive support services. Requirements

Learns new tasks quickly and adjusts when work needs change.
Works safely around docks, ships, forklifts, and other moving equipment.
Keeps a steady work pace and finishes loading and unloading on time.
Works outdoors comfortably in all types of weather, including heat, cold, wind, and rain.
Valid RealID
Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.

Maintain an organized work area and supports proper storage of supplies.
Keep the work area neat and makes sure supplies are put away in the right place.
Handle tasks in the order they are needed and based on what is most important.
Works well with others and helps create a friendly, supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

Help load and unload supplies from navy ships and other vehicles using hand trucks, carts, or other tools.
Sort, organize, and package products in storage areas while keeping track of inventory.
Check items for quality and freshness, and throw away any damaged or expired products.
Keep storage areas clean and organized, and do routine cleaning when needed.
Follow safety rules to make sure the workplace is safe for everyone.
Follow all rules and guidelines set by CW Resources and the U.S. Government.
Report any problems with inventory, supplies, or equipment to supervisors right away.
