As the Busser/Server Assistant, you will serve customers and present great customer service by setting tables; adhering to sanitation and safety policies; clearing and cleaning tables, chairs, and maintain the overall cleanliness of the dining establishment.

Requirements

Basic math skills
Legible handwriting
Ability to work well in a team
Strong customer service and oral communication skills
Frequently able to lift, carry, deliver and serve from trays weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the work shift
Ability to balance serving tray on one hand while distributing orders to customers with the other
Ability to carry and set up folding table to support particularly heavy orders
Ability to take customer orders, review customer bills and smoothly navigate dining room, kitchen and other facility areas
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

Clear all used tableware, napkins and refuse from tables to bus station
Wipe tables, chairs and clears debris and crumbs from floor areas surrounding table
Assist wait staff by refilling customers beverages and accommodating requests for additional condiments, food items or clean/fresh tableware
Maintain a clean, well-stocked and orderly bus station at all times in order to improve efficiency and productivity
Retrieve cleaned dishes, glassware and utensils from the dish room and distributes to each service station in order to keep a ready supply available for restaurant use
Must be able to identify and explain all dishes on current menus
Perform other duties including running dishes, sweeping, emptying trash, filling waters
