About The Position
The Bier Haus, an authentic German and Bavarian-inspired restaurant in the heart of downtown Coeur d'Alene, is looking for a dependable and hardworking Busser/Dishwasher to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying busy, working as part of a team, and helping create an excellent experience for our guests. Restaurant experience is helpful but not required-we are happy to train the right person!
Requirements

- Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
- Restaurant experience is preferred but not required
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently bend, reach, lift, and carry
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Work around hot equipment, water, cleaning products, and wet or slippery surfaces
- Perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, washing, carrying, and clearing dishes

Responsibilities
- Clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables quickly between guests
- Keep the dining room, outdoor Biergarten, and service areas clean and organized
- Assist servers with clearing dishes and maintaining tables throughout service
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Operate the commercial dishwasher safely and efficiently
- Return clean dishes and equipment to the appropriate areas
- Keep the dishwashing station clean, organized, and stocked
- Empty trash and recycling and maintain clean waste areas
- Sweep and mop floors as needed
- Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties
- Help restock supplies for the kitchen and service staff
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Jump in and help other team members when needed
- Perform other restaurant duties as assigned
