About The Position

As a Busperson for Seabreeze Cafe at Mandalay Bay, you will maintain the restaurant—including the dining room, storerooms, food pick-up area, and beverage stations—according to cleanliness and stock-organization standards. Working with culinary and service staff in a high-energy, coastal-inspired venue, you will help create an exceptional dining environment, support teammates, anticipate guest needs, and contribute to memorable guest experiences.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of relevant experience as a Busperson or Food Runner in a cafe or similar high-volume restaurant.
• Experience working in a similar resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service.
• Polish flatware and set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories; fold napkins properly; and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas.
• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth and chair cushions and tables, then reset them with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and other necessary tabletop items.
• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from tables and bring them to the kitchen for proper washing; dispose of trash in designated receptacles.
• Coordinate table availability and communicate continually with servers, the hostess, and management to ensure tables are turned efficiently.
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, and refill them as needed.
• Keep dining room floors clean and free of debris.
