About The Position

As a Lounge Server at Skyfall Lounge at Mandalay Bay, you will help create an unforgettable Las Vegas experience by delivering attentive, personalized beverage service in an elevated lounge setting. You will take and expedite drink orders, provide seamless table and bus service, and engage guests with warmth and energy while contributing to the atmosphere, views, and hospitality that define Skyfall Lounge.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• At least 6 months of prior relevant experience.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a cocktail and/or food server in a similar environment.
• Experience working in a similar resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening side duties, including folding and stacking cocktail napkins, stocking swizzle sticks, straws, and matches, lining cocktail trays, stocking glassware, and restocking the supply cabinet.
• Inspect the cleanliness and condition of assigned stations and service areas and rectify deficiencies.
• Know the liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available on the casino floor.
• Know the designated glassware and garnishes for each drink.
• Communicate orders to the bartender through the system and verify that they are transmitted.
• Know hotel services and features, as well as local attractions and activities, to respond to guest inquiries.
• Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; refer other matters to management.
• Notify a supervisor and/or Security of unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
• Take and expedite drink orders, provide table and bus service, and engage guests with attentive, personalized hospitality.
