About The Position

As a Busperson for The Library at Park MGM, you will maintain the dining room, storerooms, food pick-up areas, and beverage stations according to cleanliness and stock standards. You will work with the team to provide a pristine and welcoming environment and keep service flowing smoothly in alignment with Park MGM's hospitality standards.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of relevant experience as a busperson in a fine dining or similar upscale restaurant environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service.
• Polish flatware and set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories; fold napkins properly; and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas.
• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth and chair cushions and tables, then reset them with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and other needed tabletop items.
• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from tables and bring them to the kitchen for proper washing; dispose of trash in designated receptacles.
• Coordinate table availability and communicate with servers, the hostess, and management to ensure tables are turned efficiently.
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling as needed.
• Ensure dining room floors are clean and free of debris.
