The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) is the intellectual hub of the University of Oregon, serving nearly two-thirds of all students. Home to more than 800 faculty across 50+ departments and programs in the humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences, CAS is a dynamic and interdisciplinary academic community. CAS staff and managers are integral to this work, playing vital roles in supporting academic excellence and advancing the mission of both the College and the University. The College of Arts and Sciences Division of Administrative Services (CASDAS) provides administrative support and shared services to the Dean’s Office and Academic Support Units (ASUs) across the college. CASDAS is committed to delivering excellent customer service and developing effective processes that support college operations. Reporting to the Interim Senior Administrator for CAS Business Systems, the Business Workflow and Operations Coordinator supports operational effectiveness through the coordination of administrative processes, workflow improvements, and assigned projects that enhance service delivery across the College of Arts and Sciences. This position coordinates operational activities, develops and maintains documentation, procedures, forms, reports, and other administrative resources that support consistent business practices. The coordinator researches information, compiles and analyzes data, prepares reports, assists with process improvements, and provides guidance, training, and support to users across the college. Working collaboratively with college leadership, administrative units, and campus partners, this position serves as a resource for questions related to established processes and procedures, assists with identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, and supports the successful implementation of operational initiatives. The coordinator helps ensure administrative services are delivered accurately, consistently, and in alignment with college policies and practices. The Business Workflow and Operations Coordinator manages assigned projects and operational responsibilities with independence while receiving general direction from college leadership. This position contributes to continuous improvement efforts by evaluating processes, developing solutions, and supporting effective and customer-focused service delivery. This role is hybrid eligible.
