Business Value Marketing Manager

Sigma ComputingSan Francisco, CA
$126,000 - $148,000Onsite

About The Position

Sigma is seeking a Business Value Marketing Manager to own the process of transforming customer-realized outcomes into compelling proof for the go-to-market team. This role is responsible for building a system to identify customers achieving results, and then converting these outcomes into published proof and reference-ready advocates. The goal is to support sales and Business Value Services in winning and expanding accounts. This is an individual-contributor role and an entry point into marketing at Sigma.

Requirements

  • Three to five years in B2B SaaS value marketing, customer advocacy, customer reference, customer success, BVS, or a closely related field.
  • A track record of creating proof and references independently, not just executing an existing playbook.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to identify key outcomes that resonate with prospects.
  • Comfort with AI tooling, including building or eagerness to build agentic workflows.
  • Data fluency, including the ability to work with warehouse-native analytics products, pull outcome numbers, and collaborate with RevOps.
  • Experience with events and customer speakers, with diplomacy for managing customer relationships and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate cross-functionally across sales, Business Value Services, customer success, product marketing, and field marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Build and operate the value-proof engine to consistently generate published proof such as case studies, videos, and quote cards based on real outcome data.
  • Grow a bench of referenceable customers for field sales teams and feed proof tied to realized value to Majors and ABM.
  • Source and prepare customer speakers for major events like Snowflake Summit, Databricks DAIS, and Sigma's Workflow conference.
  • Own the Sigma User Meetups (SUMs) webinar series.
  • Drive review volume and quality on G2 and Gartner Peer Insights.
  • Run programs like "Built with Sigma" awards to encourage customer recognition.
  • Own and mature the Customer Advisory Board (CAB) program in partnership with Business Value Services, translating feedback into product input and pipeline.
  • Distribute relevant stories across the website, sales plays, and ABM pages.
  • Operate an AI-first system (Sigma, Claude, and connected tooling) to sustain high-volume drafting, repurposing, and distribution of content, and continuously improve this system.
