About The Position

This role provides a unique opportunity to bridge strategy, technology, and data to demonstrate measurable business outcomes. The Business Value Consultant will partner closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to quantify and communicate the value of software and AI-enabled solutions. You will lead executive-level engagements, build ROI and financial models, and translate complex technical capabilities into clear, outcome-focused business narratives. By leveraging data and experimentation insights, you will help customers forecast, measure, and articulate the impact of technology on revenue, cost efficiency, and operational performance. This position allows you to influence both customer decisions and go-to-market strategies while operating in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. The ideal candidate thrives on analyzing business challenges, creating actionable insights, and presenting them with clarity to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in strategy, business value consulting, financial analysis, or management consulting.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern engineering practices, including DevOps, experimentation, or AI-driven development.
  • Proven experience presenting to executive audiences (VP+), translating technical concepts into business value and financial outcomes.
  • Expertise in building ROI/business case models, identifying KPIs, and quantifying economic impact.
  • Strong facilitation skills for discovery sessions with diverse stakeholders including engineering, product, and business executives.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft compelling, outcome-focused narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience in platform consulting, value-selling program enablement, or operational assessments of engineering/product delivery processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead executive-level engagements to assess software, experimentation, and AI-driven processes, identifying high-impact opportunities for value creation.
  • Conduct gap analyses and translate platform capabilities into measurable business outcomes tied to P&L drivers, efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Build advanced ROI models, financial frameworks, and benchmarks to quantify business impact.
  • Leverage platform and customer data to hypothesize, validate, and communicate realized business value.
  • Coach and enable GTM teams on value-selling methodologies, playbooks, narratives, and discovery frameworks.
  • Influence product and marketing teams to ensure value narratives evolve with new capabilities.
  • Provide thought leadership on the role of AI and feature management in modern software delivery.

  • Zone 2: $193,000 – $265,000
  • Zone 3: $182,000 – $251,000
