About The Position

Jabil is seeking a Business Unit Project/Program Manager to play a key role in the startup of a new manufacturing facility in Prince George, VA. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to help build operations from the ground up while supporting the production of large-scale, highly complex equipment used in critical infrastructure applications. As part of the core startup team, you'll lead strategic customer programs, coordinate cross-functional teams, and help establish the processes, systems, and operational framework needed for long-term success.

Requirements

  • Experience leading complex projects or programs within manufacturing, operations, engineering, supply chain, or related environments.
  • Strong project management, customer relationship management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, logistics, testing, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and manufacturing business processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while driving results in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage customers and senior leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Factory startup, greenfield operations, or manufacturing expansion experience.
  • Experience with large industrial equipment, power systems, electrical assemblies, or capital equipment manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with medium-voltage, low-voltage, panel wiring, point-to-point wiring, or high-power electronic assemblies.
  • Background supporting complex customer programs in highly regulated or technical manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale customer programs and strategic projects from planning through execution and production.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the launch of a new manufacturing facility, including process development, operational readiness, and team onboarding.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across operations, manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, and logistics.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, resources, budgets, risks, and milestones to ensure successful delivery.
  • Drive new product introductions and product lifecycle activities from concept through production.
  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to identify solutions, resolve issues, and exceed expectations.
  • Support implementation of manufacturing processes for large electrical, power, and mechanical assemblies.
