About The Position

Pratt & Whitney's North Berwick Parts Center organization is in search of a dynamic team leader to fulfill a Business Unit Leader role. The Business Unit Leader is responsible for driving extraordinary performance in success areas that include leadership, development and safety. The Business Unit Leader will have responsibilities of production, quality, planning, scheduling, allocation of resources, budget, inspection, efficient sequence of operations and work flow by applying Lean principles. The Business Unit Leader will have leadership of a business unit within the North Berwick Parts Center organization. Will lead cross-department project teams or manage across multiple related departments. Refine and continue to develop key leadership competencies along with an experience in a wide range of operational aspects of the business.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree and minimum 12 years' prior experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program/project management, supply chain or related environment or a Master's Degree and minimum 10 years prior experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program/project management, supply chain or related environment.
  • Prior experience in a lead/supervisory capacity over both hourly and salaried employees in an operations setting.
  • Prior experience working in a constantly fluctuating, customer focused environment while successfully driving and delivering results.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
