About The Position

The Business Travel Sales & Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business travel revenue and market share for the Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore through strategic account management, proactive prospecting, and development of new corporate business. This role will focus on growing existing accounts, acquiring new local, regional, and national business travel accounts, and developing strong relationships with corporate decision-makers, travel managers, travel agencies, and key business partners. The Business Travel Sales & Business Development Manager will utilize market intelligence, account production data, and competitive insights to identify revenue opportunities, develop targeted sales strategies, and convert qualified prospects into productive, long-term accounts. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, positive, team-oriented sales professional who takes ownership of results, actively supports their colleagues, and contributes to a collaborative and productive hotel environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a standard office environment
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (6-8 hours a day)
  • Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday
  • Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies)
  • Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles)
  • Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use phone and/or headset
