Our Consulting team takes a strategic approach to helping clients define, transform and sustain their leading performance. Within Consulting, our Business Transformation team works with senior executives on their most pressing challenges to deliver tangible results. We currently are seeking an experienced Manager to join our Business Transformation Consulting, Transformation Delivery practice. You will be supporting the expanding Montreal team with your knowledge and experience of project management and project delivery lifecycle across a wide variety of accounts. Your role will also include active business development to grow existing accounts and seek new opportunities. We are seeking accomplished, creative individuals who bring project management experience, rigor, passion and practicality to our growing team across five areas of focus: Transformation Management: enabling our clients to define, implement and manage complex portfolios from strategy to execution. Capital Program Delivery (large infrastructure programs): advising our clients on the effective set-up and delivery of large capital projects, including the entire program from business case, feasibility, and execution strategy, through to integrated program controls, governance and delivering outcomes. Complex Program Management: supporting our clients by standing up and operating Program Management Offices (PMO), overseeing all PMO capabilities including acting as workstream leads and program managers to drive the execution of major transformations. Enterprise Agility: A multi-disciplinary set of services that span across a variety of sectors, all predicated on helping clients navigate to increased organizational agility or delivering their largest delivery programs through agile ways of working Portfolio Management: assisting our clients with aligning strategy to their portfolio of work (projects, products/services, assets), prioritizing and coordinating incoming initiatives, balancing capacity with organizational needs, and enabling portfolio‑level decisions that drive value. Together, these capability areas offer the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, high-impact work while developing a versatile skill set across a diverse transformation landscape. Whether supporting major projects or programs, enabling organizational agility, or strengthening portfolio-level decision-making, you’ll play a key role in helping clients achieve their critical outcomes. Requirements

  • 8 years minimum of experience in project management, project accounting or project delivery.
  • Preferably consulting experience and the capability to navigate a consulting environment inclusive of leading proposal responses and sales collateral.
  • The ability to lead and supervise project teams in a collaborative environment, to provide valuable insight and high-impact solutions to client issues.
  • Experience with and/or certified in PM tools (e.g. Primavera/MS EPM/CA Clarity/HP PPM/Planview).
  • Experience guiding or leading a transformation of teams and the organization towards increased levels of agile maturity in either the capacity of a Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile Coach / Trainer, or Agile Strategist.
  • A diversified experience with the application of project delivery methodologies or working within PMO, Portfolio Management Office, Transformation Office.
  • Certifications: PMI (PgMP/PMP/CAPM)/Prince2/Six Sigma (Green/Black/Master Black Belt)/Agile.
  • Excellent presentation and communication (written, oral) skills both in French and English as this is a fully bilingual role.
  • Capacity to work as a supporting team lead as well as a team member.
  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.
  • Intention for successful candidates to be based in their home office location; however, must be available to travel as needed within and/or outside of Canada and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. An expectation or extent of anticipated travel is not available at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead internal teams in delivering EY engagements, including planning, scheduling, and managing team members, while reviewing work products and providing on-the-job feedback and training.
  • Proactively pursue new business opportunities by preparing proposals and identifying ways to add value for new and existing clients, while also fostering collaboration and growth across EY practices.
  • Manage full lifecycle implementation projects/programs for clients using leading practices and tools (e.g., Agile, JIRA, SAP, AI/Analytics) to achieve strategic benefits and objectives.
  • Oversee large-scale planning, execution, and control activities for complex projects, including transformations and infrastructure initiatives, while supporting the governance of these projects through the design and implementation of Project Management Offices (PMO) or Transformation Management Offices (TMO).
  • Lead organizational planning and transformational initiatives, focusing on benefits management, stakeholder engagement, and program governance for IT and business transformation projects.
  • Conduct critical analyses of programs/projects, emphasizing performance measures, feasibility studies, and risk-adjusted benefit analyses, while developing recovery plans and executing risk management initiatives.
  • Communicate and coordinate with client representatives to ensure engagement quality, fostering productive relationships and understanding their industries and business priorities.
  • Stay informed of economic and geopolitical developments affecting clients and the industry.
