About The Position

The Business Technology Solutions Specialist is an embedded technology and process-improvement resource within IMS who partners with assigned business areas to improve operational performance. The role identifies inefficiencies, delays, manual processes, workflow gaps, and other opportunities for improvement, then applies technology, automation, data, and process redesign to address them. It combines business analysis, process improvement, application administration, project execution, training, and change management. This is a highly visible individual-contributor role that works closely with operational leaders and staff while remaining part of IMS. The specialist develops a strong understanding of assigned departments, their workflows, goals, challenges, and performance measures, and serves as a primary technology resource for those areas. The role administers and optimizes designated enterprise applications, evaluates automation and emerging technologies, and leads improvement initiatives from discovery through implementation. It also supports training and adoption, monitors outcomes against baselines and KPIs, and seeks measurable operational improvements. This is a hybrid position with a strong on-site presence. The specialist spends significant time working directly with assigned departments and may support one or more business areas depending on organizational priorities. Occasional after-hours work may be required for critical issues, planned implementations, system changes, or go-live activities. Travel may be required.
