About The Position

Bishop Blanchet High School is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Business Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-year position that is benefits-eligible. The school is a Catholic, college preparatory high school committed to fostering a diverse student population and embodying Catholic Social Teaching. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a challenging, positive, and diverse learning environment that inspires students to be leaders and transform the world through faith, scholarship, and service. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in specific content area
• Commitment to teaching Personal Finance, Entrepreneurship, and DECA
• Ability to collaborate in Professional Learning Communities and work toward consensus with team members
• Ability to structure student learning to meet Common Core, State, National, or other standards
• Ability to create common formative and summative assessments with department team members
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
• Ability to strategize for enrichment/intervention to meet the needs of all students
• Ability to utilize technology (interactive boards, one-to-one devices, google suite) to inform instruction

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree or higher preferred
• Washington State Teaching credential (or ability to obtain one) in content area
