About The Position

The Business Systems Manager is a professional who bridges the gap between a company's business needs and its technology programs, analyzing current systems, identifying areas for improvement, designing and implementing new technology solutions, and ensuring they align with organizational goals by gathering requirements, documenting processes, testing functionalities, and providing user support; essentially acting as a liaison to business stakeholders for optimizing operational efficiency through technology.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and experience working with Oracle or other enterprise systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under time pressure with a positive attitude, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to a variety of audiences.
  • Self-motivation and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on achieving results and driving success.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels, as well as clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of MPS business operations, processes, and goals across different departments.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in a team environment to solve complex problems.
  • Proficiency in ACC and a deep understanding of database structures.
  • Expertise in using data visualization tools such as Power BI to transform complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Proven ability to apply statistical and/or machine learning methods to solve business problems, and experience in data modeling and predictive analytics.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A passion for data and analytics, and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest skills and technologies in the field.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make strategic recommendations based on insights.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years working in a project or program management role.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with different departments to understand business needs, identify pain points, and gather detailed functional requirements for new or improved systems.
  • Study existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation through technology solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, designing system architecture, and selecting appropriate software tools. the implementation of new systems, including configuration, data migration, and user training.
  • Develop test plans, executing test cases, and identifying defects to ensure system functionality and quality.
  • Providing ongoing technical support to users, troubleshooting issues, and answering questions regarding system operations.
  • Analyze system data to identify trends, measure performance, and recommend improvements.
  • Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Support and drive the company’s analytics strategy, roadmap, and best practices to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • dashboards, reports, and metrics that measure and monitor the performance and impact of the company's products and initiatives.
  • Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to large, complex data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
  • The duties and responsibilities listed above are not exhaustive, and additional tasks may be assigned based on the position's role within the business unit. The Senior Analytics Lead should be flexible and adaptable to support the company's goals and objectives.
