About The Position
As a Business Systems Engineer on our Global e‑Commerce and ERP team, you’ll sit at the intersection of business and technology. You will translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications and help design robust, automated solutions within our large-scale, homegrown ERP and e‑commerce platforms. You’ll partner closely with Technical Product Managers (TPMs), developers, operations teams, vendors, and resellers to enable smooth API-based integrations, resolve production issues, and continuously improve the systems that power our global business. This role is ideal for someone early in their career (1–3 years’ experience) who enjoys problem solving, data analysis, and working with modern tools and technologies such as Java, SQL, Python, RESTful APIs, and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor).
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience in systems engineering, business systems analysis, software engineering, or a related technical role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience working with APIs (ideally RESTful) and integrating with third-party or internal services.
- Practical experience with at least one of: Java or Python, and strong skills in SQL and relational databases.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical designs and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to dive into data to understand issues.
- Clear, professional communication skills in English (written and verbal).
