About The Position

Figma is hiring a Business Systems Architect to design and build its financial systems landscape. This role joins a small team with broad exposure to accounting functions and a primary focus on Order-to-Cash and Revenue Recognition. The position will help revamp, rebuild, and expand Figma’s technology infrastructure, while contributing to how the business systems team operates as it grows. It can be based at a U.S. hub or remotely within the United States.

Requirements

At least 7 years of experience working with accounting teams in a fast-growth environment.
A solid understanding of accounting principles and processes.
A balanced skill set spanning Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Technical Systems Analyst responsibilities.
A passion for helping teams scale and grow through technology.

Nice To Haves

Strong NetSuite administration experience, including direct experience leading a major system implementation or rollout.
Experience supporting ancillary accounting systems such as TripActions, Zip, or Coupa.
Consulting experience in systems implementation or integrations.
Experience supporting Stripe, Avalara, or Tesorio.

Responsibilities

Build and provide ongoing system architecture and design reviews to ensure Order-to-Cash processes are best in class.
Identify configuration, integration, and process improvement opportunities across Order-to-Cash and Revenue Recognition.
Align cross-functional teams on technical requirements and goals related to ERP functionality and activities.
Design and implement software solutions that increase automation, reduce risk, and create scalability.
Mentor and guide junior team members and participate in interviewing and hiring decisions.
Occasionally support expansion and troubleshooting of systems outside Order-to-Cash, including Zip, Expensify, Tesorio, Numeric, and Bank of America CashPro.
Serve as the subject matter expert on NetSuite ERP and provide end-user training and support for the ERP and other ancillary financial systems.
