About The Position

Our team consists of over 400 specialists with strong senior competencies, and we have completed over 300 projects for large organizations in Poland, Europe, and the USA. We operate from several Polish cities and offices in Germany, Switzerland, and the USA, combining local presence with global reach. For one of the largest retail clients in Poland, we are looking for an experienced Business-Systems Analyst to join a key project for building a new point-of-sale system.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business or Systems Analyst, including in large-scale and complex projects
  • Strong knowledge of business process analysis and modeling methods, including BPMN and UML
  • Experience in conducting workshops and interviews with stakeholders at various organizational levels
  • Understanding of enterprise-class systems, application architecture dependencies, and inter-system integrations
  • Proficiency in using analytical tools such as Amplitude and SQL for data analysis (knowledge of PostgreSQL will be an additional asset)
  • Experience in using AI tools (Claude Code, Github Copilot, Codex)
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, and experience in conducting refinements
  • Understanding of system limitations, inter-module dependencies, and the impact of changes on business processes
  • Creation of clear functional and technical documentation
  • High communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that is understandable to the business
  • Communication in English at a minimum of B2 level

  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL will be an additional asset

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of current processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and adapt the new product to real user needs
  • Conducting interviews with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand process operations
  • Consulting solutions with headquarters representatives regarding compliance with current procedures and identifying any discrepancies
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including use cases, end-to-end process maps, and activity diagrams supporting system development
  • Analyzing user reports, feedback from pilot programs, information from ambassadors, and signals from daily system usage
  • Verification and updating of process documentation and functional specifications
  • Analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to draw conclusions and prepare recommendations
  • Identification of integration points and dependencies between system modules
  • Analysis of opportunities for using AI in business processes and IT systems, including defining requirements, use cases, and success metrics
  • Translating business requirements into a product backlog in the form of user stories
