The Business Systems Analyst will leverage specialized domain, product, and systems knowledge to gain a thorough understanding of the business, product, and vision. They will provide business-technology interaction subject matter expertise and recognize and drive the focus toward business value. This role involves identifying, documenting, and validating current state technology capabilities/ecosystem, and supporting stakeholders to design the desired future state, providing recommendations and/or direction based on the end-to-end customer experience when making decisions. The analyst will collaborate with key stakeholders to determine solutions, assess the impact on existing work processes and systems, and manage integration. They will translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, considering non-functional requirements, and own and manage the traceability of system requirements through design, development, testing, and deployment, ensuring acceptance criteria demonstrate changes that meet stakeholder expectations. Additionally, the role supports testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results, provides support/oversight and guidance in the delivery of technology requirements with a focus on quality, reusability, scalability, and innovation, and promotes innovation by applying subject matter expertise to generate forward-thinking ideas and critical thinking to find opportunities for improvement. The analyst will also provide operational/process-related analysis and support.
