About The Position

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and administering transfer agent system functions, with an emphasis on specific output or services. This role involves documenting client requirements, maintaining the shareholder recordkeeping system, troubleshooting issues, running batch and reporting jobs, and reviewing client output. The analyst will also mediate between technical and operational teams for client onboarding and change control, and serve as a point of contact for internal and external customers regarding services and system functions. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or related field.
• 0-3 years of mutual fund industry experience.
• Knowledge of shareholder recordkeeping system, reporting processes, and data delivery mechanisms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat.
• Troubleshoots issues utilizing creative and critical thinking skills.
• Multitasking, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Initiative-taking, strategic, and meticulous approaches with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Demonstrates personal integrity, responsibility, and accountability.
• Effectively uses resources such as time and information in conjunction with associates.
• Participates in solving problems and making decisions.

Responsibilities

• Documents client requirements and maintains shareholder recordkeeping system to meet client needs.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues.
• Runs periodic batch and reporting jobs.
• Reviews and approves client output.
• May assist with vendor and client billing functions.
• Mediates between technical and operational teams to ensure successful client onboarding and effective change control.
• Serves as point of contact for internal teams and external customers to answer questions about services and related systems functions.
• May perform other duties as required and assigned.
