About The Position

This is a temporary Business Systems Analyst role (SOW) for a document software similar to SharePoint. The role requires participation in the full project lifecycle, including requirements identification, design, development, testing, and implementation. The analyst will act as a liaison between business areas and the technical team, serving as a subject matter expert for Documentum/SharePoint documenting processes. Responsibilities include developing work estimates and schedules, analyzing business requirements to create detailed system requirements and functional specifications, reviewing technical designs, and developing/executing test cases. The role also involves prioritizing assignments, working independently to meet deadlines and customer expectations, proposing solutions, identifying impacts, risks, and issues, and collaborating with technical and business staff for implementation.

Requirements

  • Excellent Communications skills are essentials.
  • 6 years or more experience writing functional business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Participating in the full life cycle of a project, which includes identification of requirements, design, development, testing and implementation.
  • Acting as liaison between the business area and technical team and act as the subject matter expert for the Documentum /Sharepoint documenting processes
  • Developing accurate functional and technical work estimates and schedules for complex business requirements
  • Analyzing business requirements to independently convert them into detailed system requirements and functional specifications
  • Reviewing technical designs to ensure accurate and complete translation of business requirements
  • Developing and executing test cases evaluating test results, and resolving
  • Prioritizing assignments and working independently to ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget, and meets customer expectations
  • Analyzing business requirements independently to be able to propose solutions, identify impacts, risks and issues, and work with technical and business staff to implement proposed solutions
