About The Position

This position is a full-time, office-based position in Austin, TX and will be a member of the WhiteWater Marketing and Logistics team. Responsibilities include developing custom solutions for trading analytics, and process improvements for front and back office areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical area with 2 years of relevant experience
• 2+ years of Midstream industry experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of: Excel VBA, Python, SQL, Transact/SQL (MS SQL Server), Power BI, GitHUB, AWS Redshift
• High proficiency in MS Office Excel, Outlook, Word
• Demonstrated knowledge of Workflow and Business Procedures
• Excellent problem solving, time management, analytical and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Communication and Teamwork skills required: Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills and effectively collaborate with others to optimize team success

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the field of Oil and Gas.
• Trading Front/Back office experience.
• Automation software experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom code to support the trading and back office functions in M&L.
• Work closely with M&L to understand their business processes and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and controls.
• Hold requirements gathering sessions with key stakeholders
• Execute projects in a meticulous and timely manner
• Perform routine and ad hoc reporting and analysis
• Design and prototype data analytics reporting, in both Excel and Power BI
• Develop automation solutions to support/reduce processes
• Design effective data models in the databases to support the business
