Business Systems Analyst I
About The Position
Business Systems Analyst | Hybrid | Norwell, MA Technology is most impactful when it solves real business challenges. We're looking for a Business Systems Analyst who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, improving processes, and helping translate business needs into effective technology solutions. In this role, you'll act as the bridge between business users and IT, supporting projects from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, implementation, and user training. You'll work across departments to evaluate business needs, recommend improvements, and help deliver applications that drive operational success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-4 years of experience in business systems analysis, business analysis, application support, IT, or a related field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience gathering business requirements and supporting technology projects
- Familiarity with ERP, enterprise applications, or business systems is a plus
- Collaborative mindset with a desire to learn and grow
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)

Responsibilities
- Partner with business teams to understand challenges and identify technology solutions
- Gather and document business requirements and functional specifications
- Support the design, testing, implementation, and enhancement of business applications
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, status reporting, and resource coordination
- Collaborate with developers, end users, and leadership throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop user procedures, training materials, and conduct end-user training sessions
- Help troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
