Join Publix Technology as an Intermediate Business Systems Analyst and become part of the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Integration Development team, designing, building, and implementing applications that supports Publix growing distribution network of 10 Distribution Centers and 33 warehouses. High level WMS functions include receiving and putting away product, managing inventory, processing and selecting store orders, shipping and loading product, and integrating product movement with host systems. In this role, you will lead project planning and estimation, manage project delivery execution, and support the design and development of integrations for a modern WMS. You will develop detailed technical requirements, create user stories, manage and prioritize the product backlog, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. By working closely with product owners, QA, architecture, and engineering teams, you will help deliver secure, compliant solutions that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, planning, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and drive results with project stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years’ business experience planning, organizing, and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a large-scale distributed environment
  • 5+ years of experience analyzing problems and translating into solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience working with enterprise database management systems (e.g., SQL server, Oracle)
  • 3+ years’ experience translating complex business needs into clear documented requirements and user stories
  • 3+ years’ experience utilizing Agile project management and code management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or Jira)
  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with the ability to work within the defined roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide after‑hours support during and after the deployment of the application as needed, including researching complex issues, determining root cause, workaround development, and coordination with vendors for resolution
  • Experience with modern Windows systems architecture including Azure, Kubernetes, API driven integrations, streaming platforms like Kafka, and/or microservice
  • Experience designing enterprise class solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, UML, service-oriented architecture, and solution frameworks
  • Ability to work concurrently on multiple assignments with similar deadline

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with commercial Warehouse Management Systems integration and implementation support, e.g., Blue Yonder, Infor, Körber, Manhattan Associates, SAP, etc.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and systems concepts
  • Experience performing data analysis through creating and executing queries, interpreting results, and communicating findings to technical and business audiences
  • Experience working as a Scrum Master within an Agile Scrum framework and its application in product development and delivery
  • Experience supporting high volume, mission-critical applications built with .NET technologies for building web applications, RESTful APIs, and SQL
  • Experience with collaboration tools, like MIRO

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate requirements sessions and document business/system needs with stakeholders
  • Champion product vision, prioritize backlog, and track deliverables for timely completion
  • Communicate project and product status to leadership and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with analysts to document processes, gather requirements, and identify improvements
  • Partner with Architecture, Security, Compliance, and Audit to design secure, reliable solutions
  • Develop detailed implementation plans for complex technology solutions
  • Diagnose issues and define escalation paths for complex problems
  • Oversee delivery processes: system access, data protection, and vendor engagement
  • Align proposed solutions with agreed scope and limitations across teams
  • Define acceptance criteria, conduct UAT, and validate deliverables
  • Advocate for business needs to ensure solutions meet user and process requirements
  • Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative solutions aligned with strategy
  • Provide after-hours deployment support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate vendor resolutions
  • Leverage AI tools to drive productivity improvements across the systems development lifecycle
