About The Position

DHCF is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) who will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role focuses on complex projects, analyzing business needs, designing innovative systems solutions, and driving process improvements. The position involves leadership, mentorship, and a high degree of autonomy in managing large, cross-functional projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a business systems analyst or in a similar role, with demonstrated success in managing complex projects.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proficiency in process modeling tools (e.g., Visio).
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).
  • Experience with relevant platforms (e.g., Jira, MS Office, Salesforce).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • IIBA CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workshops and conduct in-depth interviews with stakeholders across various departments to understand, document, and prioritize complex business requirements and objectives.
  • Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and technical requirements for development teams.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and developers to design and build effective, scalable solutions.
  • Assist project lead on moderate to large projects, planning and monitoring timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Assist continuous improvement by analyzing existing business processes and identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including data flow diagrams, process maps, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Communicate complex information and project status effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance team design and execute thorough test plans and scenarios as needed (e.g., UAT, performance testing) to ensure solutions are accurate, reliable, and compliant with requirements and quality standards.
  • Provide ongoing support for implemented systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and conduct user training sessions to ensure user adoption and proficiency as needed.
  • Interface with external vendors and manage their activities, including evaluating vendor submissions and ensuring vendor solutions align with business needs.
