About The Position

The University Information Technology Services (UITS) department of the University of Massachusetts President’s Office is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst to provide functional support for PeopleSoft Financials and related enterprise integrations serving all UMass campuses and the President’s office. This is an opportunity to contribute to both reliable operation of financial systems and the ongoing modernization of the University’s technology environment. The Business Systems Analyst works independently with business and technical teams to analyze complex business needs, identify opportunities for process and system improvements, and develop practical solutions for PeopleSoft and related enterprise systems. The role takes ownership of assigned system enhancements, integrations, projects, testing, documentation, and end-user training. The Business Systems Analyst serves as a trusted partner and experienced functional resource, translating business requirements into effective technology solutions, providing functional guidance, and coordinating technical considerations with appropriate technical resources. UITS is transforming to adopt new capabilities such as cloud architecture, DevOps, and agile. We embrace a culture of continuous learning by fostering a growth mindset and working together to solve hard business and technology challenges. The position requires a consultative mindset focused on adaptive fit-for-purpose approaches rather than one-size-fits-all methodology.
