About The Position

FMH is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to coordinate the effective use and adoption of business technology by monitoring, evaluating, and optimizing software capabilities across the organization. This individual partners cross-functionally to improve system utilization, reduce inefficiencies and enhance visibility into usage and licensing, ensuring maximum value from business systems.

Requirements

  • At least three to seven years evaluating business systems or relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management or related degree (Associate’s degree required).
  • Experience evaluating Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms and vendors desired.
  • Solid understanding of general business processes and workflows.
  • Ability to translate technical features into business value.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with emerging AI technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand usage of current technology and systems utilization across the organization.
  • Evaluates new system features and enhancements for alignment with business processes; develop clear, business-friendly analyses and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with Business Solutions and stakeholders to identify functional gaps, overlaps, and redundancies when evaluating new or existing software solutions.
  • Analyzes system usage data and user feedback to identify trends, optimization opportunities, and areas for improved efficiency.
  • Develops and maintains high-level visibility into licensing usage and opportunities. Recommends strategies for reducing licensing waste and/or underutilization.
  • Facilitates requirements gathering sessions to document business needs and translate them into functional system requirements.
  • Collaborates across teams to improve workflows and system integration.
