About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Business Systems Analyst VII opening for our client. This role involves providing strategic direction for assigned applications and technology solutions, consulting with business and client management to analyze requirements and recommend effective technology solutions, and leading complex projects, system enhancements, conversions, production issues, and application support initiatives. The Business Systems Analyst VII will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for application functionality, requirements, specifications, testing, compliance, and regulatory initiatives. This role also includes managing client relationships, coordinating with business lines, technology teams, vendors, and application stakeholders, and coordinating upstream/downstream application dependencies. Additionally, the analyst will recommend application designs, process improvements, policies, and technologies, prepare project status reports, and mentor less experienced personnel. Ensuring adherence to risk, regulatory, audit, and internal control standards is also a key responsibility. The scope includes leading large-scale application and technology initiatives through the SDLC, assessing impacts, and supporting various project phases. The role also involves providing advanced knowledge of supported applications and integrated systems.

Requirements

10+ years of combined higher education and/or operational, business analytics, or systems development experience.
Extensive experience leading large-scale system enhancements, conversions, implementations, and production problem resolution.
Strong SDLC, application, and systems integration knowledge, including experience managing upstream/downstream dependencies.
Experience with risk, issue, dependency, and decision management.
Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree.
Experience in Commercial Banking, Business Lending, or large-scale software implementations.
Experience supporting multiple business functions and complex integrated applications.
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead, influence, mentor, and collaborate effectively while managing multiple priorities.
Familiarity with application development platforms, project management tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Prepare project status reports and communicate project status, risks, and activities to senior management.
Mentor less experienced personnel and provide leadership and knowledge sharing on complex initiatives.
Ensure adherence to risk, regulatory, audit, and internal control standards.
Lead large-scale application and technology initiatives through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Assess business, technical, and operational impacts and support requirements, design, testing, implementation, and production activities.
Provide advanced knowledge of supported applications and integrated/interfacing systems.
Provide project leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members.
