About The Position

The Business Systems Analyst & Project Manager will serve as a key bridge between business stakeholders, Salesforce administrators, IT, vendors, and leadership. This role is responsible for turning business needs into clear requirements, organized project plans, tested solutions, documented processes, and successful user adoption. The ideal candidate is process-minded, organized, collaborative, and able to bring structure to intake, backlog management, project execution, testing, training, and stakeholder communication. This role is designed to make the technology team more scalable by ensuring work is well-defined before it reaches admins, developers, consultants, or IT resources.

Requirements

  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into clear documentation.
  • Strong project coordination or project management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand process gaps, system needs, reporting requests, and operational challenges.
  • Lead discovery sessions and translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation.
  • Help identify the true business problem behind requests and determine whether the solution requires process change, training, reporting, system configuration, integration, or development.
  • Document current-state and future-state processes for Salesforce and related business systems.
  • Work closely with Salesforce administrators, IT, vendors, and consultants to ensure requirements are complete, actionable, and technically feasible.
  • Own and maintain the business systems backlog, including Salesforce enhancements, reporting needs, process improvements, integrations, documentation gaps, and cross-functional technology requests.
  • Manage intake of new requests and ensure each item includes a clear business need, priority, impact, owner, and expected outcome.
  • Partner with technology leadership to prioritize work based on business value, urgency, effort, risk, dependencies, and team capacity.
  • Break larger initiatives into manageable phases, work items, user stories, or project milestones.
  • Facilitate backlog reviews, project check-ins, stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, or other delivery ceremonies as needed.
  • Support a practical Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery approach without creating unnecessary process overhead.
  • Track active work, upcoming work, blockers, risks, dependencies, decisions needed, and completed deliverables.
  • Help protect the team from unclear, duplicate, low-value, or constantly shifting requests.
