About The Position

Crowley Maritime Corporation is seeking a Business Systems Analyst IV in Jacksonville, FL. This role involves researching, defining, documenting, and translating business needs into system requirements. The analyst will perform quality control audits, act as a liaison between stakeholders and IT, assist in creating technical user guides, and partner with functional areas for testing and implementation. The position also requires leading large-scale, complex projects using an Agile framework.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, plus three (3) years of experience OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, plus five (5) years of progressive experience
  • 3 or 5 years of experience (depending on degree) in business, technical requirement gathering including data mapping, creating Business requirement documents & functional requirement documents and Change management, risk analysis, cost-benefit analysis, GAP analysis, defect management
  • 3 or 5 years of experience (depending on degree) in Testing- executing QA/UAT tests and performing SQL operations across diverse databases and tools
  • 3 or 5 years of experience (depending on degree) in Agile practices and toolsets supporting iterative development and collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Research, define, document and translate business needs and objectives into system requirements that can be converted into applications, with a focus on meeting cost, quality and length of delivery standards
  • Perform quality control audits to ensure best practices and standards are utilized and makes recommendations for enhancements
  • Establish relationships among key stakeholders and acts as a liaison during the design, management and implementation of business information system and process changes
  • Assist with creating and maintaining technical user guides used to facilitate the learning of business information systems and supporting processes
  • Partner with functional and strategic areas to establish and maintain a unified approach to test and implement change
  • Lead large scale, complex projects and oversees less complex projects, under minimal to no supervision using Agile framework
