About The Position

Testing and reviewing work products for requirements assurance, developing, updating and maintaining test plans and procedures, identifying inconsistencies between baselined system and engineering release candidates and requirements, troubleshooting internal network connections between Virtual Machines (VMs), understanding, following and implementing changes per Networks, Ports, Procedure and Services Management (PPSM), and executing test scenarios for VSiF program which includes multiple software and VM.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience that enables successful performance of essential job functions
  • Five years of experience in software integration to include: systems analysis, systems architecture, systems/equipment support
  • Hands-on technical experience configuring, securing, and troubleshooting operating system applications
  • Prior experience creating and deploying system images, configurations, and updates
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile service management tools such as JIRA

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Marine Corps C2 and Command Post systems: Strong understanding of the systems and processes used by the Marine Corps, including knowledge of the technology and equipment used by Marines in the field, as well as the procedures and protocols they follow
  • Experience deploying and configuring all or some of the following Programs of Record (POR): GCCS-TCO, CHE, JTCW, AFATDS, and JADOCS
  • Experience configuring and/or administering a VMware virtual infrastructure
  • Experience with VMWare and OpenShift Environments
  • Capability to establish and modify existing Virtual Networking
  • Integration of new virtual machines into an existing environment and establishing connectivity and functionality
  • Experience with maintaining a Windows Active Directory Environment
  • Implementing updates and patches to an offline Windows Environment
  • Patching and updating offline Virtual Machines
  • Familiarization of integration and deployment of container systems, i.e. RHEL Podman
  • Windows Environment
  • Linux Environment
  • Experience maintaining a Windows Active Directory environment
  • Familiarity with configuring and operating Linux operating systems
  • Assessing architecture and current hardware limitations
  • Assisting in coordinating the integration of total system
  • Analyzing and resolving difficult and complicated program support deficiencies
  • Delivering presentations to management and/or the customer
  • Providing functional and technical guidance to less experienced integrators in all aspects of integration project
